BEFORE YOU APPLY, OR APPLY AGAIN

ICA does not tell you
why your application was refused.

A refusal can leave you asking: Was a document missing? Did something need more proof? What should I check before trying again?

ICA does not share the specific assessment of your application. But you can check your preparation before you send anything.

If this is your first application, start with the same check. Find out what to review and prepare before you submit.

Eight core questions, plus any route checks and contact details. Your written review follows on WhatsApp after a consultant reviews your answers.

WHAT TO CHECK BEFORE YOU APPLY

Small details deserve
a closer look.

A form filled in wrongly. Two documents with different dates. A statement without a record to support it.

These are things worth checking. They are not an explanation for every refusal. ICA considers your wider circumstances too.

If nothing has changed and you submit the same information and documents, ICA says the outcome will remain the same.

Start by knowing what to review before you send.

THE COST OF GUESSING

The waiting can
be the hardest part.

You send it in. Then you wait. While you wait, you may wonder whether something in your application needed more attention.

If the answer is no, you are left deciding what to do next without knowing the specific reason.

You do not have to wait to start checking your preparation.

The questions are the first step. Your written review comes later, after a consultant reviews your answers.

WHAT YOU CAN ACTUALLY CONTROL

You cannot control the decision.
You can check what you submit.

ICA decides every application. Nobody can promise approval.

But you can check the dates, documents and answers before you send them.

Start with your profile. A consultant reviews your answers and suggests what to check or prepare next.

This first review is based on what you tell us. It is not a full document check.

A FEW QUICK ANSWERS

Before you start.

Can I take this on a Work Permit?

Not through your own employment. If your spouse is a Singapore citizen or PR, choose the spouse-sponsored route and declare your actual pass.

Does any Student Pass qualify?

No. You must be studying in Singapore and have passed a qualifying national exam or be in the Integrated Programme. A university place alone is not enough.

What about LTVP or other family routes?

LTVP is covered when you are applying through a Singapore Citizen or PR spouse. Other family routes need a separate eligibility review.

Do I need a degree or a minimum salary?

Neither automatically passes or fails this assessment. We consider your qualifications, income and wider profile together.

Does the report predict approval?

No. It explains your preparation gaps and next steps. Only ICA decides approval.

How will I receive my report?

An SGIC consultant reviews your answers and sends your PDF through WhatsApp. It is not an instant result. The team confirms delivery timing when your request is accepted.

Is this for first-time applicants or reapplicants?

Both. If this is your first application, start with what to prepare. If you are applying again, review your current profile and what has changed. The report cannot identify an undisclosed reason for rejection.

Is it free? Will someone contact me?

The assessment and review are free. A consultant sends your review on WhatsApp and may call to follow up on this inquiry. Booking a session is optional. You do not have to buy anything.

Do I need documents now?

No uploads needed. Answer accurately, and never enter passport numbers or Singpass details.

What if I was refused and I do not know why?

ICA does not share the specific assessment of your application. This review cannot tell you its reason. It can suggest what to check in your current profile and what has changed since you last applied. It does not verify documents you have not provided.

YOUR NEXT STEP

You cannot control the decision.
You can stop guessing what to check.

You have put time into your life here. Give your application the attention it deserves.
